In 2017 Melanie made Cochrane her home after living in Calgary for a decade. Being from Saint John, NB, Cochrane offers her the small-town community feel she grew up with.

Melanie is a mortgage broker who is passionate about educating her clients on the home buying process. She enjoys being involved in the community, often being found volunteering at the Cochrane & Area Humane Society or participating in Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce events.

Lauren is a rehabilitation consultant and wellness advocate. She has worked in a variety of industries from law enforcement to ski tourism. Residing in Cochrane with her husband and three children, Lauren is excited about supporting Cochrane’s community initiatives and making a positive impact for the future generations. 

Nicole is founder & CEO of Nikstar Inc., a local promotional merchandise business. She has lived in Cochrane for. 10 years and very much enjoys being involved with the community & giving back through the Rocky Mountain Rotary.

In addition to RMR, Nikstar is involved with many local community sports including Promnight, a local all female skateboarding event, among others. 

Courtney is a big believer in community, and is thrilled to be a part of Rocky Mountain Rotary. She is the Founder and CEO of Snap Dance Studios, is on the advisory board of Cochrane Sport 4 Life and...as an advocate for life-long learner....is the Professional Development Chair of the Wild Rose Dance Arts Association.

Natosha made the move to Cochrane in 2019, bringing with her the community spirit she grew up with in Moose Jaw, SK, where Rotary was an influential presence. As a Realtor®, she strives to build connections not just with those in her neighbourhood and town, but with everyone she helps find home. When she is not enjoying time with her family, Natosha continues her long tradition of community involvement by coordinating community events such as fundraisers, community clean ups, and the Parade of Garage Sales for her area. She also serves on the board of directors for the Cochrane and District Chamber of Commerce and the Light Up Cochrane Society, helping plan and implement major Cochrane events.

Alison has called Cochrane home, with her husband and daughter for 9 years now, but has had the privilege of working in this beautiful town for the past 2 decades. 

As the Director of Snap Dance Studios she has been a part of numerous community events, and is thrilled to join the RMR to continue to give back and be involved in this amazing place we call home. 

Alison loves to be outdoors with her family, particularly skiing in the Bow Valley and also sits on the Wild Rose Dance Arts Association Professional Development Committee and is a Board Member with BAR Made, the Parents' Association of the Banff Alpine Racers Ski Team.

Joanne and her family came to the Cochrane area in 2005. They enjoy rural living and spend their leisure time riding horses and hiking in the mountains. Supporting the Cochrane community is important to Joanne so, in addition to her volunteer commitment with Rocky Mountain Rotary, she is also active at the Cochrane and Area Humane Society and the Cochrane Wild Rose Square Dance Club.

Lyndon Smith, originally from South Africa, moved to British Columbia, Canada, with his wife, Charlotte, in 2021. They relocated to Cochrane in 2023, where they are raising their twins. Lyndon is the Founder and Managing Director of Expansive EDGE, a company dedicated to helping businesses scale faster by documenting their processes and developing comprehensive business playbooks (A Digitized Version of Their “How-to” Manual)

With his supportive wife and two amazing kids in tow, Dan traded the lake views of northwestern Ontario for the stunning mountain scenery of Cochrane when he took on the role of General Manager at 91.5 CochraneNow in October 2022. With 16 years of experience in media and broadcasting, Dan loves helping local businesses thrive by sharing their stories with the community. When not at work, you’ll find him enjoying the great outdoors or immersed in his love for music. Dan and his family have been in love with Cochrane since day one, and they’re all-in for everything that Cochrane has to offer. Getting involved with RMR was an easy choice, and a great opportunity to connect and give back!

Living in Cochrane for 4 years with her husband and 2 kids. Originally from Peru and with Spanish as her first language, she has 15 years of experience in Communications focusing on relational Marketing to create value and generate people’s growth.

Having worked in South America, Asia, the USA, and Canada has taught her that effective communication is the key to any successful effort. Mili is happy to call Cochrane her permanent home and is looking forward to contributing to and supporting this beloved community

I’m a proud Mom of 2 teenage children. Returned summer of 2022 from being in the UK for 4 years. I lived in Cochrane for 5 years prior, missed it so much I had to come back!
